   Yes, I just had a customer get cable internet and she has Windows 98 Second Edition. With that said it's not much faster then download because her computer can't display the web pages as fast as they load.

   You may want to save the money you would spend every month on the high speed and save up for a decent used computer with Windows XP.

   yes.might not be as fast as a newer computer but it will work.have 3 comps will 3 diff os,me,xp,and vista
